i cant afford the 15$ for an instructional dvd so i'm winging it. but i think i'm stuck. any suggestions?

My friend asked me to do a cover for his album and a logo for his band. Heres what i got. Its in reverse order of where I started. The first one I made stencils and spray painted it on to black construction paper. The rest are the early font tests and the original.
